Cryptic thought for the day
So here's our cryptic thought of the week (massive thank you to Sarah for manifesting my vision). What have a team of 5 guys digging a hole (3 digging and 2 watching) got to do with Chiropractic?
So what's it all about and what's it got to do with Chiropractic.... well imagine that team of 5 guys digging a hole - if they all do their bit the job gets done relatively easily. Now imagine 2 are sat reading the paper leaving the others to do the work - 40% of the work force is taking it easy. We've all experienced something like this at work, the others all have to work harder and faster to get the same job done in the same time.
The spine is similar to the team of guys digging a hole. The lumbar spine is made of five vertebrae designed for the lifting and shifting of daily life. Every vertebrae in your spine is important - they form a team to help you move through life, because they work as a team no one part is over loaded. If joints become subluxated (jammed) then this overloads the others causing them to wear out faster (causing spondylosis & arthritis). Chiropractic helps to make sure each part of the spine is moving smoothly.
