Gavin Young - Chiropractor
Gavin Young is a Grimsby chiropractor that serves Grimsby, Cleethorpes, Louth and areas surrounding North East Lincolnshire.
I knew I wanted to be a Chiropractor after witnessing the positive impact it had on my father. For years he suffered increasing back pain that eventually prevented him from working. A friend recommended seeing a chiropractor and the chiropractic care he received got him back up on his feet and back to normality. He has now retired to a sailing around the world, something that would not have been possible without Chiropractic care.
I completed my 4 years training at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic, graduating with a first class honours degree. After graduation I worked with the Chirohealth Clinic in Scunthorpe until deciding to set up on my own in Grimsby. I grew up in Grimsby and consider this my home town.
I’m one of those lucky people who get to spend their working day doing something they love. I use chiropractic care to improve the health and wellness in all areas of patient's lives, whether they are having problems with back pain or neck pain, or just want to start feeling better when they wake up in the morning. I love seeing the positive effect Chiropractic has on my patients and how it helps them to live 100% of their lives. I often find many seemingly unrelated symptoms often arise from imbalances in the spinal column, and I will be able to determine the root of the pain and create a personalised chiropractic and wellness plan to suit each patient's individual needs.
I make a special effort to attend numerous training courses both in the UK and internationally to ensure I am fully up to date with the latest techniques and practices, which also benefits my patients.
My second passion is sailing and during my spare time I can be found either tinkering about with my boat or kitesurfing at Cleethorpes. Due to the physical nature of the work I do and my less than sensible hobbies, I also get regular Chiropractic treatment. I also ensure that my family receive regular care, including my Nan in her 80’s.
